"KITABISTAN TALKS"

Switzerland is one of the wealthiest countries in the world, and it has earned this thanks to its scientific achievements. Today the political structure of this country is studied in many developed countries.

How has this small country, which, despite being located in the heart of Europe, not a member of the European Union, developed? How did this country maintain its integrity during the two world wars? What did neutrality gain for Switzerland? What is the role of education in the development of Switzerland?

All these questions will be answered by Wolf Linder, a member of the Swiss National Science Foundation, political science professor, and Sean Müller, a political science professor, at the conference on "Education in Switzerland and Swiss neutrality" to be held in Baku within the framework of the "KITABISTAN TALKS" project.

Professor Wolf Linder, who will visit Azerbaijan on January 28 at our invitation, is a member of the Swiss National Science Foundation and the Swiss Science Council and a political science professor. He served as the dean of the Institute of Political Sciences of the University of Bern between 1987 and 2009. Professor W. Linder worked as a political expert in international projects in many developing countries.

Professor Sean Müller received his PhD in political science from the University of Kent, England. He currently teaches political science at the universities of Bern and Lausanne in Switzerland. He is also the head of the Eccellenza project at the University of Lausanne.

It should be noted that the book "Swiss Democracy" authored by Professor Wolf Linder and Professor Sean Müller is translated into Azerbaijani by “Kitabistan” and will be presented at the conference.
