Jose Borghino has been the Secretary General of the International Publishers Association since 2015. Prior to this position, he served as the association's policy director and manager of the Educational Publishers Forum. Prior to that, he held various positions at the Australian Publishers Association, the Literature Board of the Australia Council, and was the executive director of the Australian Society of Authors. Jose Borghino has been a lecturer in literary journalism at the University of Sydney. He gives speeches in conferences in many countries of the world to share international experiences on issues such as freedom to publish, printing and copyright.
