Kitabistan in climate change discussions

Malak Hajiyeva, the co-founder of Kitabistan, delivered a speech at the panel discussion titled "A Farewell to Fossil Fuels? Perspectives and Dialogues Pre-COP29," which was organized by Khazar University on October 22.

During the discussion, Malak presented the findings of a survey and research conducted by Kitabistan as part of the "Nordic Talks: The Nordic Green Model" project. She addressed questions from both the moderator and attendees, highlighting the impact of climate change on people and emphasizing the significance of individual initiatives in combating climate change.

Other speakers at the panel included Yelena Kalyuzhnova, Director of the Centre for Euro-Asian Studies at the University of Reading, UK; Ingilab Ahmadov, Dean of Khazar University's Faculty of Economics and Business; and Stella Tsani, Associate Professor at the Department of Economics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece.

The conference attracted specialists and students from the USA, Great Britain, Turkey, and Kazakhstan.
