History of Finland Henrik Meinander (Kitabıstan) How did a poor nation eventually manage to build a welfare state that could withstand great pressure? To answer this question, Professor Henrik Meinander studied the economic, social and cultural structures of Finland, as well as its resources. He summarized the results of the research and wrote the book "History of Finland".

Unlike traditional history books, a significant part of "History of Finland" is allocated to the 20th century. This is not accidental. Finland became a political entity with its own social system certainly at that period. Professor H.Meinander wrote the book "History of Finland" not as a traditional historical text, but in an artistic style, focusing only on important events and figures. However, none of the events and figures that led to the transformation of Finland into today's welfare state have been ignored.
